Situations to be avoided:
Stay seated or standing too long, trampling, wearing too tight clothes (tight pantalons, boots), shoes with heels too low or too high, exposure of legs to the sun or heat sources, excessive weight catches, and avoiding foods that are deemed to favour congestion of veins: alcohol, spices, coffee, tea, tobacco.
