But why does it hurt?
Aphthous stomatitis (mouth ulcer) is located on the inner surface of the lips and cheeks, on the body and edges of the tongue, on the floor of the mouth and on the palate. It is a superficial ulcer of inflammatory origin. Rounded, whitish and well-defined, it is surrounded by a red halo. It is particularly painful during meals or when brushing teeth. The causes of canker sores are multiple: fatigue, stress, trauma or even diet.

How to prevent and treat canker sores?
